New Year's Eve was pretty low key around the RAM offices. We had a night of PJs and popcorn. So we decided this year we would save the partying for you the listeners. Episode 766: Goodbye 2023

As of this episode, the year is starting to wind down. But before you start rockin' in the New Year, now is a good time to discuss some of the events that made 2023 the year that was. Without stepping on the Rammy Award's steel toed boots, we figured we'd share the awesome albums that provided our personal soundtracks. We also pay tribute to some of our fallen comrades. We also get stoked for the outfits that reformed in '23 and are preparing new material for '24. Episode 765: Messes Des Morts 2023

The Messes Des Morts in Montreal is a Black Metal festival going on for a dozen years now. The attraction to the fest is the organizers ability to attract artists from across the pond that rarely makes appearances on North American stages. We had planned to be there for this year's instalment. Unfortunately, life had different plans. Fortunately, our good friend and co host of our sister podcast "Wrestling Night In Canada" Mr. "Ducky" Dustin Maruca made the trip. We picked his brain all about the fest. Namely the line up and highlights. And he shares a few cool stories making us wish we were there. This past weekend was what's suppose to be the final on stage hurrah for the legendary KISS. The outfit has gone full circle from the New York club scene some 50 years ago to Madison Square f'n Garden. This historical moment was available to fans worldwide on Pay-Per-View. Sorta. Our service for the big event was both dodgy (Thx Barney) and non existent. So this week we compare debacles. We wanted the best. But well... So this being the Thanksgiving season, we take inspiration from the (in)famous "Turkey Drop" episode. We thought "What If..." (Thx Marvel) the characters of WKRP were Metalheads?
